A story about the typical ingredients of this region, the slow preparation and the traditional recipes. There is a world enclosed within every small bite that seems created to satisfy even the most gluttonous palates. Sicilian amaretti were born at the end of 1100AD, in the Palermo convent of Martorana.
    The SICILY box Whimsy Dessert offers the opportunity to try a variety of Sicilian sweets, the same treats that are served at the end of a meal, whenSicilians meet around a laid table and indulge in authenticlocal specialties.Modica chocolate surprises with cane sugar granulesthat crunch under your teeth; amaretti, on the other hand, are soft and decadent, aromatic and sinful.     CAMPIDOGLIO – AMARETTI DI SICILIA
    The master confectioners – thanks to the quality of local almonds, the honey of Nebrodi Park and the totally artisanal preparation – create a perfect combination between the right consistency of the dough and a delicate aroma, where the taste of sugar is hardly felt. Organic and gluten-free.

    Ingredients: Sicilian almonds, sugar, vanilla, egg white, honey, sorbitol syrup, fructose..

    VINCENTE DELICACIES – ARABESQUE TREATS
    “Arabesque” a poetic name to describe these small delights for your palate. The best dried fruit, worked with great care to maintain unaltered taste and properties, is covered with the best quality white chocolate to obtain a true masterpiece.

    VINCENTE DELICACIES – PISTACHIOS BITES
    In Bronte brittle is called “turruni”, a kind of nougat, which is not the same as the traditional Italian Christmas nougat. The term derives from “torrere”, which means toasting. In fact, the pistachios used for the bites are toasted and caramelised for a long time before being added to the fragrant Sicilian orange blossom honey.

    DONNA ELVIRA – CHOCOLATE OF MODICA WITH CHILI
    The Chocolate of Modica with chilli is made with 50% cocoa beans from Latin America, cane sugar and Sicilian chilli pepper. With this product you can prepare an excellent hot chocolate or taste it bite after bite. It is also an excellent aid for bronchitis and colds.

    DONNA ELVIRA– CHOCOLATE MODICA WITH MIRROIR SALT OF BOLIVIA
    Prepared with cocoa beans from Latin America, cane sugar and special Bolivia salt, a very delicate sea salt that makes this chocolate particularly appetizing and inviting.

    VINISOLA – “ARBARIA” PASSITO DI PANTELLERIA DOC
    The goddess Tanit replaced the ambrosia with the sweetest juice made of Zibibbo grapes to seduce Apollo. Today, just like in those days, Arbaria wine is produced from the best Zibibbo grapes sundried in Pantelleria. A meditation wine, with a velvety, aromatic and sweet taste that goes perfectly with any Sicilian sweets. To be served in medium tulip-shaped glasses at a temperature of 10-12°C.
