GOURMET REGIONAL SPECIALITIES
L’Arcimboldo (314 ml): Selected vegetables, pickled according to an old traditional recipe, these savory, crunchy greens are neither sweet nor sour, but the golden mean between the two.
Ingredients: Bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, fennels, cauliflower, onions (in variable proportions), water, wine vinegar, sugar, salt, extra virgin olive oil, nutmeg.
PHEASANT PÂTÉ WITH VERNACCIA DI SAN GIMIGNANO
Pheasant Pâté with Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Caccia e Corte (135gr): the intense, gamey flavors and aromas of top-quality pheasant and wildfowl are enhanced and intensified by the addition of Vernaccia during cooking.
Ingredients: pheasant meat (65%), European wildfowl, yellow onions, 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, potatoes, white wine (Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG), butter, garlic, sea salt and black pepper.
FUSILLI DI PISA
Fusilli di Pisa, Pastificio Martelli (500 gr): Fusilli is an ancient Tuscan pasta format that goes back to 1284. This version comes from a selection of the finest Italian durum wheats, ground at the Borgioli mill in Calenzano, whose tradition dates from the late 1600s; the prime-quality semolina flour is then mixed with pure, fresh water for state-of-the-art pasta dough.
Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina flour.
CHIANINA IGP VEAL RAGÙ
Chianina IGP Veal Ragù, Caccia e Corte (2 jars, 180 grams each): The finest, local ingredients are one of the secrets to this unique meat sauce – tender Chianina IGP veal (the prized breed that gives us Costata alla Fiorentina); Chianti wine, superb extra virgin olive oil and juicy Tuscan tomatoes… The sauce is left to simmer gently for hours, enabling flavors and juices to blend and mellow.
Ingredients: Tomato pulp, Chianina IGP veal, 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, red onions, Chianti wine, carrots, celery, parsley, salt and black pepper.
VILLA MAGRA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Villa Magra Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Frantoio Franci (250 ml): Fruity and intense, from hand-picked olives of the hillside groves at Montenero d’Orcia, here is a veritable nectar that packs hefty, powerful flavors and aromas, fresh, herbaceous nuances and tangy fragrance yet shows great elegance and balance on the palate, rich in vegetable nuances, predominantly artichoke and cardoons.
Ingredients: Olives in three varieties, 50% Frantoio Corregiolo, 35% Moraiolo, 15% Leccine.
Sòdole IGT, Guicciardini Strozzi (750 ml): From estate-grown, select Sangiovese grapes at the family’s proprietary Tenuta di Cusona, this wine is exclusively produced from the finest vintages. Lengthily macerated on the skins and fine-tuned for 12 months in French oak barriques prior to over a year’s bottle age, here is a majestically structured red with smooth, finely knit tannins and appealing notes of violets and berry fruit.
