OUR GROWERS
Each of the amazing regional delicacies you will find in our Experience Boxes is a labor of love – hand-crafted by boutique producers that exemplify the best of their terroir.
PIEDMONT
Organic Piedmont IGP hazelnuts, classic, handmade tajarin pasta, bagna cauda (a hot dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic and anchovies that’s been a scrumptious staple in the region since medieval times) and the “diamond of cookery” – truffles – are just a few of the Piedmontese gems we have picked out for you, exclusively from boutique local producers and masters of their craft.

TUSCANY
The world’s love affair with Tuscany has been a constant for millennia – with good reason. Art and lifestyle, food and wine, craftsmanship and natural beauty: it’s like some fairy godmother just couldn’t stop giving on Tuscan soil, and we can get a glorious morsel of each and every gift on the Tuscan table. Scrumptious ingredients from a millenary tradition, which Ventuno Italy has cherry-picked for your enjoyment. You will savor the mellow appeal of Tuscan wines; sample an ancient pasta format – ‘fusilli di Pisa’ – from the finest durum wheat strains; and close your meal on an almondy, crunchy note by dipping cantucci cookies into silky-sweet Vin Santo.

APULIA
Italy’s southeasternmost region is both rich in timeless traditions going back to the 8th century BCE – when it was part of Magna Graecia –, and a hub of cutting-edge research, technology and innovation. Boasting the mainland’s longest shoreline – a whopping 540 miles – and extremely diversified microclimates and terrains, Puglia is long and narrow, stretching out between two seas. In the words of the Apulians themselves, the region is “Lu sule, lu mare, lu ientu”: the sun, the sea, the wind. The ideal terroir for centuries-old olive groves, golden fields of wheat and cellar-worthy wines; for such delicacies as fragrant extra virgin olive oil, orecchiette pasta made from toasted wheat flour (“grano arso”), served with turnip top greens, unique almonds (30% of Italian production!), whose intense, well-balanced, buttery flavor is ideal for pastry-making, “mirtoli” (wild myrtle berries in alcohol, chocolate-covered) and pugliesi macaroons. Ventuno Italy has selected some of the finest boutique producers for you.

SICILY
The heat of the sun, earthy intensity of the soil, and balmy sea breeze laden with citrus and cactus scents, imbue Sicily’s food and wine with a unique, fiery fragrance. Centuries of ethnic diversity and overlapping civilizations endow its gourmet table with unsurpassed complexity. We have selected some of the island’s most iconic specialties, masterfully crafted by our trusted growers: Modica chocolate, sea salt crystals, bronze-cut pasta and the renowned Bronte DOP pistachios...
